This summer has been one of the most joy filled and loving summers I can remember. One full of love from the heart, reaching in and out. We were privileged in July to host two of my sons lovely friends. Cass and Alice. I must say these girls were two of the easiest house guests we have ever had. We enjoyed meals, fellowship, movies and they introduced me to Pokemon Go. Yes, we were out wondering through the streets of Alton and walking through a graveyard. So much fun to be had with them, love them both truly.
Then in August came my daughter Amber and her sweet Adams wedding. A real fairy tale come true. It was wonderful to watch these two make their dream day a reality. So much love and inspiration at the wedding and reception. It touched all who attended and even was life changing for a few. It was such a treat to have extended family and friends from all over Canada….all the way from Calgary to Nova Scotia and the Rock of Newfoundland they came.
The laughs, tear’s of gratitude and bonding that took place was just plain and simply off the charts. I have been reminded of the importance of family and friends, the joy of connecting with love ones and the fun of bonding with new ones too. On the top of my list going into the remainder of this year is to make a commitment to reach out and keep in touch with all these wonderful people.
Speaking of the fall I have some new items coming out this year. I am adding a second kimono line called the exquisite line. This kimono line is made with a 100% kashmir/silk blend and all the fabrics come straight from India (via a sweet little Indian man named Farooq) These kimonos will be selling at a higher price then our cozy line.
I will also be adding more show dates this fall/Christmas season. I hope you have all had a great summer and I look forward to sharing all my photos from Paris when I get back. Take care and enjoy the remainder of the summer, Tata for now,
