Todays Studio Organization 101.
Hello Everyone, I though today I would share a little bit on how I keep my studio organized without spending to much money. This would also be some good tips for any homeschoolers out there, you would just change up the items being stored.
I will start with my UFO cupboard. For you that don”t know that is unfinished objects. I have stored the projects all in individual freezer bags. They are not stored in any particular order here, just so they look neat and tidy when I open the cupboard.
My shelving units are from #Ikea#, a great place to find all your organizational needs. Also on the shelves you will see assorted sizes of black baskets, these I purchased at the dollar store. By keeping them all one collar it keeps it looking cohesive and tidy.
This next photo is of my fabric cupboard. Loaded to the brim with fabric. I have folded my fabric using a large ruler, I will feature this tectonic in a future blog post with video.
This next item is actually a laundry hamper I purchased at #Ikea#. In side I store fabric scraps in medium to large size freezer bags. They are all stored by colour to make it is when working on a project that just needs a little of this or that.
I know for myself when I let my studio get out of control it really effects my ability to be focused and free in my creating. I hope these little tips may give you some ideas for your own studio. Happy Day Everyone,
